OnlineÜberweisen
OnlineÜberweisen is a system that is built to unify bank access for the consumer and merchant. It interfaces directly with the consumer's bank to transfer money from the consumer account to the CPSP or Merchant.
Some basic bank information is needed to perform a payment using OnlineÜberweisen.
Important
- OnlineÜberweisen is a so-called "Payment Initiation Service": these payment methods are not guaranteed.
- At the time the customer authorises the payment at their bank our system automatically receives a real-time confirmation that technically the transaction authorisation is successful (status
codewill be set to200).- The customer's bank may execute the actual transfer later, and if at that time there are insufficient funds the transfer may fail.
- An alternative option is available to use
code701first, and wait for the funds to be received before it will become200and astatus=confirmcallback is sent. Contact your account manager if you want to use this option.- In general less than 0.2% of transactions are not received but this depends heavily on the type of products and services offered.
- When the funds are received (usually 1-2 business-days later) the
book_dateof the transaction will be set.- If the funds are not received after 20 days, the system will revert them automatically (
code404).
This section provides reference information about processing OnlineÜberweisen payments with the CURO API.
